Nominating A Practice
To capture a wide array of good and promising practices, AIDSTAR-One relies the wider HIV and AIDS community to nominate practices and provide supporting documentation. Before nominating a practice, please read the information below.
To begin the nomination process, users should send an email to aidstarone-info@jsi.com succinctly describing the practice to be nominated. An AIDSTAR-One team member will be in contact with you to collect supporting documentation.
To receive a rating, nominated practices must have information available in at least three of the six categories (target population, program implementation, program evaluation, program monitoring, quality assurance and/or quality improvement, and funding support). Only practices with sufficient documentation in the following two areas will be considered:
- Program implementation (with a clearly identifiable practice and/or description of how the program was implemented)
- Monitoring & Evaluation
- An internal monitoring system that includes one year of results
- Formative or process evaluation (e.g. needs assessment or internal evaluation)
Please upload or provide links to the documents that best describe the practice. This information can be found in a number of reports and documents, including but not limited to:
- Annual reports
- Program evaluations
- Yearly and/or quarterly monitoring reports
- Proposals (for a description of the target population)
- Workplans
There is no limit to the number of practices that can be nominated. AIDSTAR-One will be notified upon receipt of your submission and will contact you.
